Hello There!

BLOAT leads to Stomach Torsion if not stopped. STOMACH TORTION CAN KILL A DOG IN UNDER AN HOUR AND IS EXTREMELY PAINFUL. You must get your dog to a vet immediately if you suspect bloat.

Liquid Simethicone (store brand - Phazyme gel) should be kept in your cabinet at all times.  It is an anti-gas pill that can help to buy your vet some time should you think your Dane is bloating.  It may even stop the bloat if in the beginning stages.  Make sure you tell your vet what you have given and how much.
