Stang 2008

Stang suffered major trauma to his legs and feet, but thanks to the incredible attentive and fantastic care of his foster family he is now recovered and is ready to find a forever home. The skin on his legs is very thin where his wounds have healed, so he will need an owner who is willing pay close attention to ensure they do not become injured in the future. This means no long walks or other forced exercise, but that is okay with Stang. Because he'd rather hang out in the recliner. Stang is crate trained, potty trained, and knows basic house manners. He is very a very laid-back guy with lots of personality and is what we refer to as a talker. He is BIG boy that is looked for some BIG love to match. He would do very well in a home with a family of most any size or age and would like to most to be with his people as much as possible. - Jan Cates, HGDR President.

Adopted News!

Scott and Janet, Stang's loving longtime Foster Family have long since decided to keep him with them forever! But wanted his story to be known to as many people as possible so he stayed on the available page to teach us all about the dogs that go through the worst and it doesn't change their hearts...they are still loving, playful, sweet and gentle despite enormous hardships, neglect and painful recoveries. Stang is all these things and we congratulate him for his wonderful taste in a forever home.

We also with to thank Scott and Janet for years of intensive care for Stang who needed so much and found it in them!

Thank you Scott and Janet!
