Hello everyone...I'm Mulligan.

You know what that means right?

It means I get a second try...just like in golf!

I'm just 7 months old, so I'm full of energy. I also can't hear, and that's why HGDR thinks my owners didn't want me anymore. HGDR thinks I deserve another chance and so does my foster mom and dad!

My previous owners just dumped me at the lake to fend for myself and I got pretty banged up. The vets all think I was burned with tar or asphalt...mostly cause I'm curious about everything! My ear has lots of burn scars (and some of it's even missing) and I have either asphalt or tar stuck in my fur. My foster mommy is trying to get it out without hurting me, but it's going to take a long time.

Even though I can't hear, my foster mommy says I'm a VERY fast learner. I already know where to go potty, how to walk on a leash without too much pulling, how to get in my crate, what it means when they say 'NO' about getting things from the counter and even the important stuff, like where the cookies are and what the sofa is for!

I like other dogs, and I need them to show me the ropes. I watch them to figure out what is going on and what to do, but sometimes I get jealous and want all the attention so I have to chase them off by nipping at them...then I can grab a humans hand for attention. My foster mom is working on making me stop that, but it's a little hard because I just want so much love! And its hard to say no to me. The home I go to is going to have to be consistant with me because I get the wrong idea really fast.

Some of my favorite toys are ice cubes and pillows (I have my own now!) and I really like those bones my foster mom gives me with the goodies inside. I'm working on learning some sign language, but until I get it down, it takes a little work to get my attention (rolled up socks work really well).

My foster mom says I'm the sweetest, most loving boy ever, so I just lean right into her and soak up the love! If you are looking for a young, special, loving boy, look no more...just look into my beautiful blue eyes and you'll fall right in love! Just tell the people at HGDR that you are in love and are ready to take me home and continue my training!
