Bella means beautiful in Italian. and as you can see that is exactly what she is! Before coming to live with her foster mom and dad, Bella had gone through a very rough time.
She was out in the January 2007 ice storm. 12 days all by herself! Luckily a nice lady found her and brought her to her foster parents's home. Although she was very skinny, she has rebounded and growing everyday. Bella
is a smart puppy. She is crate trained, knows sit, stay, wait and come. Bella has lots of fun with her 2 Dane foster sisters. While she does get along with cats and dogs, because of her playfulness, it would be best if she
were with other animals that were very tolerant of her and want to play just like she does. Bella is a sweet and loving girl and would love to find a forever home to return that love and make her a
permanent member of the family.

Foster Update:
Bella is doing
just fine. She is feeling more and more comfortable as a member
of the family, which of course means her true colors are shining
through! :-) She enjoys chasing the cat and last night she laid
on top of her! She is very ornery! Luckily the cat doesn't get
too mad at her! She also enjoys biting Jewel and Skye's ankles
and tormenting them. Sometimes Jewel and Skye both get in
Jewel's kennel just to get away from her. But with having said
all that she can still be an incredibly sweet girl, we can
definitely see how sweet and kind she is going to be after she
gets out of this crazy puppy stage! Bella, Jewel and Skye played
last night with my friends 2 Great Danes they had a lot of fun.
Bella has been meeting more and more people and dogs so she is
getting plenty of socialization. She is doing better and better
each time she meets a new dog so that is good.
