Our Fundraising Coordinator!
The Fundraising Coordinator is a
person who heads a team of their choosing to plan the money making
portion of events and activities. In other words, the Events Staff
works on the event and the Fundraising Staff works on making money
with the event. Raffle Prize and sales items gathering,
concocting new and interesting ways to turn a few bucks!
The Fundraising Coordinator reports to the President, and works
closely with The Event Coordinator.
The Fundraising Coordinator also has the assistance of the Webmaster
to help get the word out through internet promotion.

Laura Martens is a former Medical Coder/Patient Services Coordinator.
Married to Jeff 8 happy years, she is blessed to stay home with her (2) two legged kids and (3) four legged kids. She has two daughters ages 4 and 7 who share her love for animals of all shapes and sizes. When she is not running them to gymnastics, the YMCA, or bike riding, she is spending time at home with her four legged kids. She is owned by 13 yo black lab, Chelsea, 12 yo lab/shepherd mix, Brittany who rules the roost, and Ranger the baby,

Laura is Big on Big Dogs. Not only does she handle our Petfinder postings, but she is the webmaster for Great Plains Mastiff Rescue. The only thing she loves more than Big Dogs is paperwork/computer work. We understand the Big Dog thing but the paperwork thing???...we can only be thankful for her funky ways!
What is it with hubbies and limits on dogs? It must be us Big Dog chicks are so out of control when we see those big babies the manly foot automatically must engaged downward to stop us throwing them over our shoulders and running home with them.
Whatever it is, Jeff is not budging on his 3 dog limit, even though Laura is still window shopping. Sinbad, the African Grey Parrot obviously doesn't count toward the limit. Laura and Jeff love the mountains and snow, why they are still in flat and icy Oklahoma is an ongoing mystery.
